The coronavirus pandemic,  that has humiliated countries and nations. And has struck the arrogant ones before the weak ones. That has displayed the weakness of mankind and that no matter how much he advances and however he may try to act strong and pompous he is nothing in front of the Strength and Power of Allāh. For verily Allāh تبارك و تعالى has imprisoned the people, all of them in the homes. By an enemy or a soldier from His (Allāh’s) army, that cannot be seen due to it’s smallness, insignificance, meagreness and weakness. The virus cannot be seen by the naked eye. Is it not seen due to it’s immense size or greatness?!

No! No it is not seen due to it’s smallness and insignificance. Nevertheless, the people had been made to be as Allāh has said about the ant that said to a group ants:
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمۡلُ ٱدۡخُلُواْ مَسَٰكِنَكُمۡ لَا يَحۡطِمَنَّكُمۡ سُلَيۡمَٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ⁴¹
“O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaiman (Solomon) and his hosts crush you, while they perceive not.”⁴²

So, they are stuck in (their) houses and quarantined in (their) homes, scared from this enemy that cannot be seen due to its smallness. And the people have assembled together from every place to search out a treatment and cure. Probing and searching for salvation and safety. And if not them, then all of the people will look (for a cure). It is upon us to envision if  Allāh had permitted the doctors fighting this sickness to all perish. How will the condition of the rest of people be? It will be undoubtedly that they will be faced with utter destruction if Allāh جل و عل does not rectify (their situation) with His Mercy. Thus, mankind, whatever they may be and whatever characteristics they may be are weak in front of Allāh.

As Allāh has stated:
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعۡفٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفٖ قُوَّةٗ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٖ ضَعۡفٗا وَشَيۡبَةٗۚ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡقَدِيرُ⁴³
Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair.⁴⁴

يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمۡۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفٗا⁴⁵
Mankind is weak in truth!⁴⁶

Nevertheless, man is the possessor of long (winded) supplication (when harm touches him as he is powerless to remove it by himself) and the possessor of long (winded) claims (due to his arrogance). Behaves pompously and arrogantly.

Verily, man does transgress all bounds (in disbelief and evil deed). Because he considers himself self-sufficient. And he is nothing or was almost nothing. So Allāh تبارك وتعالى with this disease, or with this virus, shows us something from His Power and the power of His creation and army. We avidly seek His mercy and avidly seek His Promise.

Allāh says: ⁴⁷ إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرٗا
Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs).⁴⁸

So we await the ease after the hardship, and we await the prophetic glad tidings, that came upon the tongue of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, when he said, “There is no disease that Allāh has created, except that He also has created its treatment.”⁴⁹ and this is in Bukhari and Muslim.
And also, from them (Bukhari and Muslim) that the Prophet ﷺ said,“Every disease has a cure. If a cure is applied to the disease, it is relieved by the permission of Allāh Almighty.”⁵⁰

So we then await from Allāh عز وجل that there is a relief and there is a cure for this disease, because He did not send down a disease except that He sent down a cure, this is a glad tidings, upon the tongue of the Prophet of Mercy, our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

“Seek treatment, O slaves of Allāh! For Allāh does not create any disease but He also creates with it the cure except for death) and decrepit old age.”⁵¹

Meaning, except death and old age, for these things there is no cure. Apart from these two, Corona (Covid 19)  or other than it, there is a cure and without any doubt, Allāh asserted that verily after hardship comes ease. That verily Allāh سبحانه وتعالى will make the people discover a cure, which Allāh will make as a relief for all of the people on Earth.

But we are motivated and know that all matters are in the Hands of Allāh عز وجل, so we have hopes and longing for Allāh and we ask Him for forgiveness and well-being, and we know also that this is from the signs of Allāh.
