What Is The Ruling Of Returning To A Land That You Have Made Hijrah From?  Shaykh Sulayman Ruhaylee

Question:

What is the ruling of an individúal who returns to the lands of disbelief after he has made migration (Hjrah) from it, not for work or residence, but rather to call (dawah) his relatives and friends which have deviated and have gone misguided?

Answer:

To return to the country that the person made migration(hijrah) from if it is for a necessity and it isn’t for permanent residence then it does not affect the migration (hijrah). Like going back to do business like recurring transactions and leaving to make purchases (for the business), or for treatment or to call the people (dawah), or to seek out relatives, or to seek out the Muslims he used to teach or matters pertaining to the aforementioned. It does not affect the migration (hijrah) but rather it is a desirable action. Rather, the only action that affects the migration (hijrah) is to return to lands of disbelief to reside there.
