OBJECTIVE:

To teach students the correct pronunciation, spelling, and fluent reading of the Arabic language. Students that complete all levels are expected to have a clear understanding of the relationship between the spoken and written word, excellent reading and writing skills and good penmanship.

CURRICULUM:

The Arabic Reading and Writing curriculum comprises three levels beginning with the Arabic alphabet and culminating in independent reading and writing. To test students’ knowledge, we have a spelling test after each lesson. This ensures that students can correctly interpret letters and vowels.

Students are also taught basic Arabic vocabulary and spelling rules to further strengthen their understanding.

After completing the Arabic Reading and Writing curriculum, students spend a period of time reciting the Qu’ran until they have gained confidence before proceeding to the Tahfeedh program.

TAHFEEDH AL-QUR’AN 

OBJECTIVE:

To connect our students to the book of Allah through the old age tradition of memorization while at the same time understanding its message.

CURRICULUM:

Tajweed and Itqaan are the foundations of our self-paced Tahfeedh program. Students are taught how to recite the Qur’an the way it was revealed to our Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). Equal importance is placed on memorization and correct pronunciation. .
