SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IS EVERYDAY

– By Shaykh Dr Abdur Razzaq Al-Badr.

Knowledge is with a person throughout his life.

As such, our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to supplicate every morning after he prayed the morning prayer (Al-fajr) .

He would say in his supplication – 

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَّ رِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَّ عَمَلاً مُّتَقَبِّلاً

“O Allah, I ask you for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds”.

Everyday, He ﷺ  would ask for beneficial knowledge because it is desired from a person to do so everyday in his lifetime.
